Accessing MoCAP Assistance

MoCAP offers technical support and consulting services free of charge to eligible organizations pursuing federal funding for health- or prevention-focused programs. MoCAP resources are available to nonprofits and governmental organizations that serve people or communities within the MFH service area. An organization's current or prior status as an MFH grantee has no bearing on using MoCAP services. For questions, contact MFH at 314.345.5500 or toll free at 800.655.5560

FIND FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

MoCAP staff tries to stay up-to-date on current federal funding opportunities but encourages agencies to run searches on their own. Grants.gov has a list of all discretionary grants offered by the 26 federal grant-making agencies and search features for conducting searches. MFH has created a suggested set of procedures for searches relevant to MoCAP organizations.
It is anticipated that over $500 million be available for investment in community health, prevention and public health programs through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in FY11. As ACA opportunities become available they will be posted to grants.gov.
