Missouri Foundation for Health serves 84 counties and the city of St. Louis.
When MFH was created in 2000, it was charged with serving the same geographic area as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri.

HOW DOES MFH DECIDE WHAT HEALTH ISSUES TO FUND?
Funding efforts are based on input from community meetings and data regarding the major health problems and concerns in Missouri, especially those issues facing the uninsured, underinsured and underserved.
