Dr. Weldon James is a family practitioner with St. John’s Clinic and Lebanon Family Medicine in Lebanon, Mo. He also serves as medical director for a skilled nursing swing-bed unit there, managing daily clinic care and hospital care of patients and serving on the organization’s ethics committee. A National Health Service Corps scholar and member of the St. John’s Lebanon Heritage Foundation, James received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville. He completed his residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he performed research in geriatrics and worked with a community safety net clinic. He joined the MFH Community Advisory Committee in 2009.
