MoCAP

Helping Missouri-based nonprofits and governmental health organizations submit stronger applications for federal and national funding opportunities.

Please note that MoCAP will not be accepting applications during the period of March 25 – April 12.
We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience.

Since 2010, we’ve supported more than 834 proposals, with an overall return on investment of $51 per $1 we put into the program. To date, over $451 million has been secured for Missouri organizations.

We assist a variety of organizations with diverse areas of focus, including community health centers, local public health agencies, nonprofits, and state agencies.

Through MoCAP, we:

Connect nonprofits and governmental agencies with consultants that provide grant-writing and technical assistance at no cost to the applicant

Communicate with organizations about federal and national funding opportunities

What is MoCAP?

MoCAP offers technical support and consulting services free of charge to eligible organizations pursuing federal or national funding for health- or prevention-focused programs. MoCAP resources are available to nonprofits and governmental organizations that serve people or communities within our service region.

Accessing MoCAP Assistance

If your organization has found a specific grant opportunity and you would like to request MoCAP support, please complete the MoCAP application. Once completed, a MoCAP staff member will follow-up with you.

Please review our FAQ before requesting assistance.  If you have any questions, please reach out to mocap@mffh.org.

Please Note
  • Eligible funding opportunities are those that are nationally competed federal or private national funding opportunities. Funding that originates from a national funding agency but is disbursed through a state level agency is not eligible for MoCAP, as this funding is already designated for Missouri.
  • We ask that you identify a funding opportunity that you have determined your organization is eligible for if you are interested in MoCAP support. MoCAP does not provide individualized grant research for organizations.
  • We ask that requests be made 5-8 weeks before the deadline, if possible, and the earlier the better.
